Fans are surprised that former NBA first-round pick is still a free agent

Dennis Smith Jr. played seven seasons in the NBA.

His most recent stop was with the Brooklyn Nets last year.

The former NC State star averaged 6.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 43.5% from the field and 29.4% from three-point range in 56 competitions.

Smith Jr. is currently a free agent available to sign with any team in the NBA.
